To approach the impact of dietary on reproduction and cellular
development, with the aim of unravelling the role of specific food components in physiological and pathological states.

ESR 4: The lipidomic analysis in the veterinary field:
study of the cell membranes lipid profile in
physiological and pathological conditions.

ESR9: Evaluation of the intestinal microbiome in
obese pet owners and their obese pets.
ESR10: The SIRT1 activator resveratrol in the
treatment of obesity and diabetes.
To study the cell membrane lipid profile and the SIRTUIN expression
either in physiological or in pathological conditions, and its connection with intestinal microbiome.

Disorders and Obesity and their relationship with
the reproductive
functioning

To study the interaction of food quality and of food-related pathologies

on reproduction.

ESR8: Evaluation of endocrine disruptors effects in
animal models and their impact on consumer.
ESR12: Valorisation of alternative, healthier and
environmental compatible food production chain
relying on typical on typical sheep breeds in
Abruzzo Region.
To study the interaction of food quality and of food-related pathologies on reproduction.
