Currently she is a full professor in Veterinary Physiology. She is also a teaching coordinator of the University course in "Biotechnology of reproduction" and of the PhD course in "Biotechnology of reproduction". Project Coordinator of Repeat Project.

Thesis title "LH transduction mechanisms in the control of oocyte maturation"
1990: Doctor in Veterinary Medicine cum laude University of Bologna
Thesis title: "Developmental competence of pig oocytes matured and fertilized in vitro".
1986-1990: Practice within the unit of Veterinary Physiology of the University of Bologna.
